Biography

Song Weiming has been engaged in plastic and aesthetic surgery at the Plastic Surgery Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences since 1984. He is a master's degree supervisor and was accredited as a chief physician by the Ministry of Health in August 2004. He has recruited and supervised 11 master's degree students, of whom 5 graduated with a master's degree, 5 transferred to doctoral programs, and 1 is currently enrolled as a master's degree student. He has successively served as a member of the expert review database for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National High-Tech Research and Development Program (863 Program), participating in grant review. He has been responsible for leading and participating in multiple research projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Health, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and other institutions. He serves as an executive editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research, and as a manuscript reviewer for Neural Regeneration Research (English Edition), Chinese Journal of Clinicians (Electronic Edition), Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research, Chinese Journal of Aesthetic Medicine, Chinese Journal of Health Emergency (Electronic Edition), and Journal of Shandong University (Health Sciences). He serves as a member of the Craniomaxillofacial Surgery Professional Committee of the Reconstructive Surgery Branch of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine; a standing committee member of the Scar Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Expert Committee of the Medical Aesthetics Branch of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine; a standing committee member of the Regenerative Medicine Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Physicians; and a member of the Academic Committee of the Chinese Journal of Health Emergency (Electronic Edition) of the Chinese Medical Association. As first author and corresponding author, he has published 32 papers in professional academic journals, participated in compiling 5 books, and participated in translating 1 book.

III. IV.
